Hello everyone!

This month's series is based on Brain Cancer Awareness Month. This months cancer ribbon is grey coloured, so I will be giving away shiny (and a few non-shiny) pokemon that match this theme

With around 700,000 people in America currently living with brain tumours, and many more people around the world. These tumours can either be malignant (cancerous) or benign (non-cancerous). Depending on the severity of the tumour, they can be deadly or greatly impact on the daily life of the patient.

The risk factors for brain cancer are still uncertain, however old age and a family history seem To be common factors. Symptoms of brain tumours can include severe headaches, dizziness or disturbed vision. As with all cancers, early detection is important as treatment can be started before the tumour grows bigger.

Treatments depend on the type and severity of the tumour, and can include steroids, surgery or chemotherapy. Even after the brain tumour is removed, continual treatment is often needed, and further scans are required to ensure the tumour does not return.
