So much for GPs. I think if he could win 2 or 3 more, and a few more motos, it would be considered successful.
Is there any possibility he decides to ride MXGP again next season? I think I read somewhere this would be his last season regardless of results, but I have to imagine someone as competitive as he is would be eager to prove his merits, especially after getting a year of experience under his belt. (Sure hope so)
i really hope he does continue to compete either mxgp or somewhere i love watching his style in a competition setting.
I didn't realize this series started. how is he doing over there?
Pretty good, usually at the sharp end of the racing. Wont win much though
Why's that? Is he on a privateer bike?
He's on a factory KX bike. You can blame it on different things. I personally dont think he's as quick as the others, but the harder tracks play a part as well
interesting. I'll have to look for the races online.
No doubt it is the tracks, he is a full speed all the time lose rider and the GP tracks dont put up with that shit and have been just beating him up.
No GP's are a different breed then the nationals. The riders are no slouches and the tracks are tighter and more technical. Bring a GP rider to the nationals and he will have a hard time as well.(see roczen)
Roczen is the 450 moto champ. How can you say he had a hard time?
I don't even care. I'm not even a Villopoto fan. I'm just glad this excellent motocross racer is closing out the last year of his racing career by touring the GP circuit and growing that side of the sport. I hope he is enjoying himself, he has undoubtedly earned it.
