Unable to charge. Anyone getting this?

So two days ago I put the watch on charge and went to bed. I woke up expecting it to be at 100% but it was only at 50%. I figured I didn't attach it right or I bumped it. So I wore it and at night it was down to 2%. So this time I made sure it was connected. But it gave me an error "Charging not supported with this accessory". Since I only have the charger that it came with its kinda strange. Since then I was able to get it to charge to 4% but after 5 minutes it decides to not be supported. However it was long enough to.

  • Switch it on / off
  • Hard reset the button by pressing both buttons down.
  • Used the app to wipe and restore the watch.

But it is still not charging. I tried using both and iPhone and an IPad adapter but it won't light up.

Any one else having these issues?

This.

Folks we are in failure analysis. This is standard for all launches. Anything you even think could be weird should be reported. It might be something as basic as needing a restore, might not. Don't risk having to suffer as one of the half a percent with a fault when it can be swapped and possibly should be. And yes the store has protocols. They might transfer you to apple care to deal with the paperwork but there are ways of getting you a replacement unit if it's needed.

If you are lucky enough to live near an Apple Store, you can go in and have them look at it. Could need a cable swap?
