Are pieces starting to fit together?
Last week I made a post after it was revealed that Saad had retained CG to represent him at the Grand Jury, which many thought was odd as well as being previously undisclosed. We also had Urick’s closing where he implied that Adnan also had an accomplice in the mosque community. Well, I was doing some more research and I found this tweet from Rabia that I had previously thought had no importance

@EST_wtf Ok I don't think you're getting my point. My brother raised the 5th too. But in the end BOTH testified.
Why was Saad going to plead the 5th? Given that Bilal was going to do the same, it makes me wonder if the Mosque community had a ‘no snitch’ culture worse than the Baltimore African-American community or if there is fire where there is smoke.
I originally starting looking for the date of the Grand Jury as one would think that Adnan definitely knows he is a suspect and should start remembering his day when his mosque mentor and ‘best’ friend both are called to testify against him at the Grand Jury – again, this 6 weeks ago narrative from SK is garbage. But, really – what is the deal with Saad? If my friend is 100% innocent and they are convening a grand jury against him, the last thing I would do is try to plead the 5th which, like it or not, makes him seem guilty and that I would be hiding something from the police. Saad is 2x removed from the murder if Adnan is innocent so why on earth would he go out and retain one of the highest price lawyers in Baltimore and then try to plead the 5th? What was he pleading the 5th in reference too? All of this seemed completely uninteresting right after the podcast, but with the Grand Jury lawyering up, trying to plead the 5th, and Urick’s closing statements, it starts to make me wonder what Saad thought the State was going to claim against Adnan….and him.
