FestHack: Comfort Supplies

Hello r/wayhome!

Here are some quick items you may have overlooked but will definitely make your Wayhome experience that much more enjoyable.

Items to Increase your Comfort!

Anti-Chafe / Anti-Blister / Body Glide

Essential tool for avoiding blisters on your feet, chafing of backpack straps, and the dreaded monkey butt.

Travel Baby Powder

Fill in your cracks to absorb sweat and keep things feeling fresh and friction free!

Baby Wipes

A quick and portable way to keep any part of your body feeling fresh and clean in an instant.

Hearing Protection

Earplugs attempt to block out all sound, hearing protection still allows you to enjoy the music and conversations while eliminating the damaging frequencies that will cause your ears to ring.

Mister Fan / Spray Bottle

A quick refreshing spurt of cool water can revitalize you in an instant under the hot sun.

Cooling Towel

Wet and wear to bring your core temperature down if you’re starting to overheat.

Campsite Rug

In case the campsite area isn’t lush grass, it’s handy to have an outdoor rug to lay on the ground to protect your tender tootsies while lounging barefoot.

Shower Bag

Works best with something to hang it from, but one of these can be a game changer when it comes to giving you a second wind for nighttime activities.

Quick Dry Towels

Use it, hang it, and it’s ready to go again in a few hours. Don’t waste packing space with bulky towels from home that take hours to dry.

Area Bug Repellant

To keep your camping area clear of pesky bugs, if that sort of thing bothers you.

Battery/Solar String Lights

To keep your campsite habitable after the sun goes down.

These types of items are what’ll set apart the rookies from the vets. Staying comfortable throughout the day will extend your playtime, and improve your overall experience. Got any comfort secrets of your own for the Wayhomies? Please post them in the comments or your own thread here at r/wayhome!
