also the game Tie-Fighter was the best space flightsim i've played.
really cool video anyhow, on how they can just science it out and say this is what you gotta do, and against this plane... you win if you do this.
The whole X-Wing and Tie Fighter series was released on Steam the other week. Been playing Balance of Power campaign with a buddy, multiplier works great through Hamachi.
This post sold several copies of that game and caused many hamachi clients to be installed. Oh my god I need XvT in my life.

Also ive discovered how to use trackir with XWing Alliance if anyone is interested and wants help with it. The basics are using the mouse emulator with the mouse look but there are a couple of helpful tweaks.

Nice. I didn't realize this. Though not sure I could do it again. Maybe if I had a proper joystick ;/
They are from the 90's, I don't think you're joysticks resolution is gonna make too big of a difference. As long as it generally works, this game will probably be alot more forgiving than most.
