What do you predict coming/going?
Yo
What trends/brands do you think are currently on the way out, and ehat is on the way in?
I think maybe palace is gonna go, they have very nice designs but i think they made the mistake of relying a bit much on that triangle print for too long and at least in the UK its getting pretty played at this point. Having said that I loved the whole adidas collab range especially the white tracksuits and white 3M crew. So yeah not sure but I feel like its gettin rapidly towards the tipping point.
I think fitted caps will be back within 2 years at most.
Interested to hear your predictions

Skinny jeans won't be out as a whole but the super skinny ones will become less common maybe. This is already visible after Ian Connor switched over to baggier cuffed pants and hoards of his cult followed suit. I don't think we will ever reach anything comparable to a relaxed fit bagginess, it's just a bad silouhette.
Beyond that, fashion has been idolizing punk/skate culture for sometime now, and I feel that this too is on the way out in favor of tech/sportwear, for example people are buying trainers now where Jordans and then vans were previously more popular.
Camps are arguably on the way out if not been out for sometime now, I still see them now and then on this board/in person but they reached peak saturation in like 2012 imo.
Ian Connor also represents a pretty small fraction of all of fashion. I'd argue that Harry Styles wearing almost exclusively SLP recently has more than pushed the shift in the other direction.
Ian Connor doesn't represent fashion at all lmao
I don't know, he has like 200k insta followers which isn't nothing, and he pretty much single handedly propelled Gianni Mora into the relative limelight.
Hes not huge, but he certainly has his area.
Depends where you look lol. Gianni Mora isn't really known unless you already know who Ian Connor is. And most people don't know who Ian Connor is.
No he has no impact on fashion as a whole at all. His "200k" followers is a very small amount in retrospect and he hasn't done anything for the industry
Ian Connor didn't start dickies. people have been on the 874 train for years. They're really comfortable to skate and chill in, much more so than jeans.
True I remember kids I skated with a few years ago rocking Dickies, but I think that it hasn't been until recently when they've been more considered fashionable outside of the skateboarding community.
That's true. I'm glad though because I can actually wear them without feeling like my fits suck lmaoo
The fuck you talking about. Dickies is a big brand in Japan.
