Challenge Mode DPS?

I'm looking to roll a DPS class to do CMs with some friends and I've narrowed it down to Shaman/Lock/Hunter, but I'm having trouble deciding among these 3. Basically I'm looking for some input from people who have level 100s of the aforementioned classes about why I should or should not roll their class as far as both fun level and how well they do in CMs. Obviously I'd like to continue playing the toon after I finish CMs so I can show off those sweet xmogs.

The things I enjoy in the game are 5 man dungeons (I'll probably be looking into Mythics in 6.2), PvP, and very casual raiding (LFR/the occasional PUG.) That being said, I'd love some input on how these 3 classes do in the parts of the game that I enjoy.

Thanks!

I recently completed 8/8 gold with my team comprising of both ele shaman and destro warlock. We finished it off with a realm best run of Auchindoun.

Both are pretty good, altho I value the shaman more than the warlock. Cap, grounding and tremor totems are a godsent.

No doubt Hunters are up there too, as it always has been.

all three are certainly viable in CMs, i dont know if you are looking for realm best times or just to complete golds, thats a different matter, but if you got a good group you could do 8/8 gold with all three!

BM Hunter, Demo Lock and Enhance Shaman are all three extremely strong CM speccs. You can obviously play other speccs with these classes and do decently aswell. I play both Demo Lock and BM Hunter. I would say Warlock is slightly stronger on trash if you do large pulls to make use of its burst aoe and control. While the Hunter will pull slightly ahead on bosses. Like some others said, all classes work well for CMs.

If you'd like to check out how they play, I linked two playlists of me doing CMs on both Warlock and Hunter
