For anyone who remembers my discussions about the minimum wage....
I warned EXACTLY that this would happen.
People deserve pay raises, but $15 an hour is too high, and cannot be sustained at a 'blanket' level. The goal would have been to increase Union Density, so that on a firm by firm basis, wages can be adjusted... which is exactly what the Unions are calling for now, without having the foresight to plan this ahead...
God damn. Just because we are 'working class' doesn't mean we ought to be led to suffer by idiots. Intellectualism is so under appreciated among the masses, merely dealing with reality is a bridge too far.
But whatever. We actually just want to feel good about our problems, rather than actually solving them.
I guess for Lost Gen, uncomfortable truths are just so much more worse than feel-good fantasies.
