Saw a 3D visualizer theme in another subreddit and wanted to try it myself

Nice! I think the colors go well together.
How do you make the visualizer contour or "3d" to the background? Havent figured this out yet. Thanks.
Take your wallpaper and open it in paint.net, gimp, photoshop etc.
Erase the background of the wallpaper, and save it as a separate PNG.
Now turn that PNG into a skin and put it over your wallpaper. Right click the visualizer and go to settings, then to position. Make sure it is placed behind your new skin.
Finally, something something with a task bar. I can't understand how people posting other stuff can live without task bar.. Nice job!
Thanks! And yeah, while I do like the cleanness of a desktop without the taskbar, I can't go without the functionality and I just can't get used to the auto hide feature.
I kinda took your idea as well but with a sunset background Sunset Elk!

How do you get the visualizer behind different parts of the wallpaper? Is there some sort of layering system?
Yeah, the part of the background in front of the visualizer is actually a Rainmeter skin. This video explains how it's done.
Do you have a link to the cut out part of the wallpaper?

I didn't do a perfect job of making the cutout, especially around the trees, but I've found that it's not really noticeable.
Thank you! The trees look kind of weird though (http://i.imgur.com/wFAeQLY.png). Could you send me a version with alpha channel?
That's strange. I used the same image for mine, but it worked fine. Regardless, I'll send you a version with alpha channel, though I'll have to do it later as I'm out of town at the moment.
Alright thanks :) EDIT: Found out I downloaded it in a different so everything was white instead of being clear! You don't need to send me the alpha channel version anymore :p EDIT2: Still looks weird :/ EDIT3: I just removed the blurry parts since I don't seem to need them for the 3D effect, it's working now!
I saw this post in r/headphones and figured I'd give it a shot. I haven't used rainmeter in years, but I thought the visualizer idea was cool enough to try. Admittedly, I didn't change too much from the inspiration post.
