[Q] Stories behind Google, penek, and parsec?
All I know is that they're infamous scammers but I've heard snippets of interesting backstories.

I remember exactly who you're talking about with Google but for the life of me I can't find him online. All I remember is that he worked himself up from nothing to a $7,000+ inventory, with like, 20 high-tier unusuals, a lot of salvaged stranges, etc. and then with all that rep built up of his, PayPal scammed many people in a row and ran off.

I've definitely heard about penek. Pretty much the whole backpack.tf forums know what penek is. He is an infamous phisher. One of his ways is using the way that you have to "download a Mumble client" which is a keylogger or a backdoor of some sort, allows him access into your computer, and then steals his items. He is marked on steamrep.

Can't find their profiles anywhere though.
Edit: Found penek and parsec, can't find Google. SR reports aren't giving a very legible storyline, outpost gives none at all.

They are, I remember hearing about all of 'em, just I don't know what they did for the most part (minus Google)

I've never heard of any of them, except parsec in very, very vague passing.
I believe Google was a big PP scammer, other than that Same here. Commie and I have both been around a long time as well so....
