Standard of Proof - Was the Jury wrong?
Not long finished listening to the all the podcasts and I can't say for sure who I think committed the crime but one thing I can be sure of is that as a Juror I would have serious concerns about Adnan's guilt.
The Standard of Proof in most criminal cases is Beyond Reasonable Doubt and even though I haven't heard all of the evidence as it was presented, from what I have heard about the trial there is enough there to put doubt in my mind about Adnan's guilt. I think that any doubt would have been even more obvious had Adnan taken the stand.
Would like to hear the Judge's advice to the Jury that was given before deliberations, I don't suppose this would be available anywhere would it?
