A while ago I made this post, and this post, talking about getting a cap made for r/fgb, and now it now looks like I am on step 5: get a design from r/FGB. So, Start designing. Two minor rules: (1.) if you use the reddit alien, it can’t have drugs or weapons, (2.) It has to be original.

This is the template that Farsi gave me. It doesn't have to follow that pattern.

Here are the logo alien assets as well as some general tips on how to portray the alien and reddit brand if you need it.

We are, hopefully, going to be working with State Bicycle Co to get this made and shipped. I’ve talked to Mehdi and he has offered to let sell the cap through State. So when we are ready to sell it, State will have a section of their website dedicated to us, there will be a pre-order instead of an actual sale, so that we the exact amount we need made. The price will be $13.99 plus shipping costs. With the shipping everybody should be covered because State has international shipping. If for whatever reason State doesn’t ship to you, talk to me and I will try to get something sorted out for you.

Weird Question, but what size is your head? I want to make sure that those of you with big heads get a cap that fits.

I will leave this thread up as long as people are interested in designing a cap.

It doesn't have to follow that pattern.

So can we use all the panels on the cap? Or are there restrictions? (ie top/underside of the bill, inside, etcetc)

Cheap. I haven't had a problem fitting caps in the past I didn't realize they came in different sizes.

I'm still holding out for "Classy as Fuck"

i don't think so. I know I had trouble ordering my hard hat. And if I wear a cap I typically only have like two snaps on it. I don't remember my size though. I'd say I'm probably a 7 1/2 or bigger.

Giant head here: standard walz caps fit me great but are hot. Pace fit less well but work. All others fit like a yamaka.

Are you implying they are sold in multiple sizes? Or just one? Cuz I have a tiny head. Anything I've come across so far has fit though.

Awesome. Always amazed by how active, and on point the mods and community members of this sub reddit can be. I will be buying a hat whatever the design is, but I can't wait to see what you guys can come up with.

Also, quick thread hijack: is there an ETA on the results of the alleycat? I'm sure it's a ton of work to sort it all out but I'm just pumped to see who's going to take it. Cheers.

Also what is the international shipping going to be like? If it's anything like the dzrs I wanna get from state it will be like 45 dollars. Crazy. On that note, if shipping is gonna be really high, then I'm down for getting a bunch of Aussies together to make a group order. Happy to organise and reship individually through auspost (they ship for $13.40), though obviously this requires that only genuinely interested members place an order so I'm not left holding the bag. Hit me up 'strayans.

My head size is 'normal', as in I can buy the one-size-fits caps and generally don't have issues. Plus I like them to be a bit snug anyway. The "Classy as Fuck" slogan is going to get automatic votes for me, and yes I understand there will be a need to have options without the slogan for those who's tastes swing that way.

How would it work for shipping to Europe? I know State has a UK store so would it go through there? If so that would help with shipping costs etc.

Anyway, I'm curious to see what people come up with.

Not really, if someone is interested and motivated to design a cap I'll wait for their design. But the faster we get a design the faster we get the cap.
