I just watched the Watcher interview after a guildie told me he mentioned HFC was the final raid, but I didn't hear him mention that this was the final Raid dungeon.

No, silly. They've already stated they're doing 6.2.x to bring in flying for everyone. :)
I didn't say patch, I said raid.
The thread title says patch, sorry.
I think many people have it stuck in there minds that there will only be two raid tiers this expansion, because that was something they mentioned might happen for WoD. But those statements have always been in the context of reducing the gap between the last raid tier and the next expansion.
Given that the next expansion hasn't even been teased to us yet, I believe the next expansion is at least a year out from now, so I would expect that we'll see another raid tier and major content patch before the next expansion.
Apparently there will be an extra scene at the end of the Archimonde mythic fight which will probably give more knowledge about the future of WoD or the next xpac
Mythic Archimonde may have some interesting, unexpected, and new things happen once he is at low health.
Sounds like it's just new mechanics / abilities / extra phase. But who knows, maybe there will be something plot relevant there.
