Is it possible that Adnan gave Jay his car before school?

I think both Jay and Adnan are lying about the Stephanie birthday present story, and that their activities that day had more to do with a drug connection. Is it possible that they had something set up the night before? The downtown pings are very suspect to me.

• Adnan goes to Jay's that morning before school

• Jay drops Adnan off before 1st period

• Jay calls someone at his own house for whatever reason

• Adnan gets a ride to Jay's at lunch. On one of Adnan's handwritten timelines it says that he goes to lunch for a little bit and then goes to Jay's "with friends".

• Adnan either rides back to school with friends ar Jay drops him off again.

I think this could be a possibility and would explain some of Jay's confusion in drop off times and locations, as well as why Adnan was asking Hae for a ride that morning and possibly the night before. Thoughts?
