Mirror's Edge Color Identities

If you have never played the game, Mirror's Edge is about a runner, a delivery person of information, named Faith through an Orwellian society. The game is interesting in that the protagonist of this game is Red/black (Rb), while the antagonist is White/blue. (Wu)

Any thoughts or questions?

I think Faith fits her color scheme and would be Mardu colors. She can be aggressive and hasty in her resolution to do the right thing but is still an outlaw at the end of the day.

Also, she embodies The Mardu mechanic of dash.

I think the White would be splashed, as she is definitely base Red, with a Black splash for her strong sense of, and wants for, self.

Why is she black? I don't remember her doing anything black in the game. Same with white I just don't see it and you did not explain it. I think she is just pure red.

What part of antagonist is blue? I just don't see blue in there.

Faith has a very large sense of self, often performing selfish actions, a trait of Black characters.

The protagonist is Blue because they desire control through information and 'permission' rather than force.

White cause good. Red cause speed. Faith doesn't have an ounce of black in her.

White doesn't mean good and Black doesn't mean bad. They are generally portrayed that way because White characters care about others more, while Black characters care about themselves more.

If you want an example of White being evil, read the lore of the original Ravnica block, Grand Arbiter Augustine IV.

Faith explictly cares about others. We see this in the affection she shows to her sister. I want to know what black you see in her.

She cares about the self. This is an explicitly Black trait. She may have a White splash, which manifests in a caring about those close to her, but this could also be a Red trait. Her actions for most of her back story and the game are for herself, and thus fall into the Black philosophy of the color pie.

That's a weak argument. All things care about themselves. Black is caring about yourself to the degree of putting other things down because of you. I'd like to see a source on her black actions.

White puts the community as a whole before even it's closest friends. Red cares about the individual and those close to them. Black puts themselves before all others.
