My One-Woman "Freaky Friday"
I feel like I'm devolving back into my teenage self, but instead of being the child in the parent-child dynamic, I'm the parent. A typical day looks like:
- waking up tired (at least now I know about coffee)
- lots of tongue-clicking, eye-rolling, and sarcasm (from me)
- feeling like no one is listening to / understands me (literally true, since I'm home all day with a dog and a one-year old)
- staying up way too late because it's the only time I have to myself with no one bugging me
- you can see how this loops back up to the top of the list...
I'm not much of a drinker at the moment, but I think I may have overlooked the sedative benefits of a good ol' nightcap. Anyways, thanks for listening!

You sound like me except not the staying up late part!!
And I work during the day but no-one seems to listen to me at home either!
Lol, sometimes it's like "is the sound not coming out of my mouth? is it just traveling straight into my own ears through my jaw or something?"
I'm hoping I get better about my bedtime when I'm finished with pumping. Right now I'm trying to do a session every so many hours, but then of course I get on reddit while I'm pumping and stay distracted after I'm done and don't go to bed cuz I'm enjoying relaxing on the couch in the luxurious quiet too much lol.
That quiet time with no-one is golden though.
So true... makes it so hard to feel bad, even knowing the ad(horri)ble alarm clock has no snooze button.
