This something I should look forward to?
So I just came back to planetside 2 today, used to play a bit on pc but the lag got to me once my comp messed up and so I was excited for the ps4 release when I heard about it.
So I get back into it and get dropped on Koltyr and lo and behold my faction is fighting both of the other factions. Not unusual perhaps because there are two other factions, what was unusual was that they were both working together. Literally all day today all I've been dealing with is both factions attacking nothing but mine all day. Again, I don't really have a problem with that necessarily but I question why it was happening given that my faction was clearly the weakest faction on the map in terms of territory at the moment.
What got to me was that not once did either faction ever bother really attacking on another. The entire time all I saw was them laying siege to us, even when the other faction literally couldn't have taken the base they were attacking. Hell at one point I literally saw a tank from one faction save the Sunderer from the other faction.
Now I get the idea of teaming up on the big guy to mess him up and I get that you have to deal with both factions fighting you at the same time, again that's not what I'm confused about. I'm confused about why the two factions would actually team up to beat up on the group with almost no territory. Is that a thing that happens in this game now?
Edit: I don't really mean this to sound whiny, I was more surprised and confused as to why they never really seemed to commit to fighting one another despite strategy saying that it's clearly a better idea to do so rather than beating up a guy with no territory. My faction is TR btw, forgot to mention that.
