Poly Bridge FAQ

Announcement

~Hydraulics are confusing, how do they work?

Hydraulics can be adjusted by clicking and dragging their arrows. A semi-transparent blue line appears on either end of the hydraulic, by dragging the arrows beyond 0% compression you may set them to expansion. Currently you may contract or expand by up to 50% of the existing length; shorter and longer hydraulics adjust accordingly.

~Who did the music? How can I get it?

Adrian Talens is our talented composer, you can check him out on Twitter. The soundtrack will be released as a DLC once it's complete.

~Why does my bridge work sometimes and fail others?

Physics behaving a bit inconsistently is somewhat unavoidable, due to floating point rounding errors (YouTube video on rounding errors). The simulation is on a fixed time step, with many velocity iterations to reduce floating point errors, but none-the-less different outcomes can sometimes still occur, particularly in complex bridges or with fast moving vehicles.

~Where can I find more levels?

You can find User Created levels on the Steam Workshop. Currently you will need to subscribe to items via the Steam Workshop, in-game overlay or website, but we will soon be rolling out a customised in-game browser to find all the best levels.

~Where are my level replays (GIFs) saved?

In a folder on your desktop named PolyBridgeGIFs.

~Where do I post bug reports?

The best method is via the in-game feedback tool so we get as much information as possible. If you require more support please visit us at our Steam Forum or send an email to support [at] drycactus [dot] com

~Is the game touch-screen compatible?

Not yet, but we're working on it!

~Will support for my language be included?

We are currently looking to support the following languages:

English

German

Spanish

French

Italian

Russian

If you'd like to volunteer to help us with translating a language not seen above, please send an e-mail to info [at] drycactus [dot] com

~How can I help?

The best way you can support us is to tell your friends about Poly Bridge. If you want to give a little more we'd love a Review on Steam. And of course by reporting bugs. Also, don't forget to share those great replay moments on your favourite social network!
