[Build Ready]Gaming/Home PC (~$1600 CAN inc. Monitor) First Build!
###Build Ready:
Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)
Yes.
What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Gaming (not overly intensive: SC2, Heroes of the Swarm, CSGO... room for some more intensive games would be nice). Also used for watching movies etc. for the GF. All purpose home machine.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)
Not picky, ultra setting with 60FPS for my games mentioned above is my main concern.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
~$1600 like this build but it'd be great to save some money if anything looks out of place or more than I need!
In what country are you purchasing your parts?
Canada

Provide any additional details you wish below.
Biggest question marks were R290 or R290X, decided on 290 Tri-X due to some other posts I read over the past week. The other one is monitor. My GF really wants a "pretty" monitor (i.e. little to no bevel), I have no clue if this LG monitor is decent or fits our needs at all. I'm out to lunch on monitors so input would be HUGELY appreciated.
THANKS in advance all.

CPU have insignificant performance difference to my CPU choice so you're paying too much for it.
Motherboard too. You'll just be paying for features that you won't be using like overclocking or more SATA ports. It's not like you're running a data server.
Graphics card I chose performs the same, double the RAM and cheaper than the 290X you chose.
Windows 10 is a free upgrade anyway if you upgrade within the year so might as well get the cheaper Windows 8.1 and then upgrade.
A 27" 1920x1080 monitor is just a terrible idea. So terribly pixelated. Cost way too much too. Get this monitor instead. 27" 2560x1440 monitor that costs USD250. Or you can get the smaller Acer monitor but that'll cost you a lot more.
Thanks so much. I'm planning to buy this build tonight! I'll go with the smaller Acer as my GF will like the design and it's about the only thing that matters to her (worth the extra bit and smaller size).
Once again, thanks for the all the changes, didn't realize how much better value I could have aimed for!
