Hello DIY'ers, please list some flavors that disgust you

I would like to compare some notes. So please be so kind and list some flavour's that you just can't stand no matter what. There is no need to mention company if you don't want to.

I have short list of flavours that I really can't use at all.

  1. Pineapple - it really makes everything taste bad for me

  2. Chocolate - Never found one I like and I love chocolate

  3. Tobacco (it's personal I think, I smoked for 22 years before I converted to vaping and I can't stand any tobacco taste now)

Custard tastes like bleach to me. I hate banana for reasons unrelated to vaping. I am not a fan of anything with cinnamon.

I have same feeling about tobacco. I think its PTSD after 20+ years of smoking.

Interesting list. Looks disgusting enough :). Maybe too disgusting.

I think cucumber may be best out of that list. Maybe if I get rich and brave enough I try some out :), bookmarked.

cucumber makes a really good vape, especially with menthol and floral flavors. my first actual bottle of juice was Vaporchef coolcumber melon.

Bread Crust and Cucumber could both actually be pretty use able imo.

EDIT:

These flavors didn't agree with my palate . However, someone might come in and use them in a great mix . This doesn't mean the flavors are bad .

It's really tart with some grassy taste to it, tasted chemically to me. As we all know taste i subjective but I couldn't make it to work. You may like it or use at at low percentage in your fruit mixes to add complexity .

FA Condensed Milk is the stuff of nightmares. It tastes nothing like condensed milk or anything found in nature.

Edit: ... Or maybe condensed milk tastes like that in Italy? ಠ_ಠ

Anything even remotely similar to a black licorice flavor. Simply disgusting.

TFA Guava is the worst flavor known to man. It smells like cat piss and when vaped (even at less than 1% flavor) tastes worse. Let's not focus on how I know it tastes worse than cat piss and just trust I do know...and I am right.

Oh god I wonder if VapeWild uses this in their Peach/Guava flavor they have.

I got a free sample bottle of a mystery flavor that was supposed to be that, and 'some sort of piss' was the initial flavor I got from it. It was rather distressing!

I found a nice creme de menthe from high stakes, but that's the first.

The savory 'luck of the Irish' I got from a vape wild giveaway seems to have discontinued itself, but it's getting better? It was bad to start off, salty and savory.

Now that I build coils lower than one ohm, some others have become too much, but I loved them before... A little annoying, really.

In general I like grape flavours. I have never had TFA one. Is it just that brand you dislike or is it something more general?

To me it adds an unpleasant taste/smell at any %. Not at all close to grape. I tried 3 times and cant stand it. Having said that tho, I did mix "purple drank" for a friend (recipe from this site I think) and he liked it and asked for a larger bottle. So I recommend if you order it to get small size to try.

I really don't like LA Bavarian cream by itself. But with a banana flavor it's pretty good

I actually considering to make it juice based. But I think comparing pure flavours gives better overview. Some nasty tastes can give really nice background taste to juice.

Completely agree. Always good to make a simple 5% mix of that one flavor to get a feel for it

Flavor West's Bananas Foster. I initially did it at 15% and it tasted like rotten bananas. Ok so I halved that and it wasn't bad but definitely had that over ripe taste to it. I'm sure actual BF can have that taste but I much preferred TFA's. So I then tried FW's Banana Nut Bread. It had that same heavy over ripe banana taste and I just couldn't deal with it. Not for me I guess.

Maybe, I wouldn't say it's a bad flavor, some may prefer that over ripe quality. I didn't try doing anything more with it.

Lorann keoke coffee. Its like and onion ate a clove of garlic and farted sulfur on the inhale, and rancid eggs on the exhale.

I hate TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. My hopes for it were sky-high, but it tastes rotten to me.

Specifically Decadent Vapour's Blackberry, Apple and Blueberry are absolutely hideous. Their Blackberry and Apple (specifically Apple, Green Apple from them is gorgeous) taste more like the stalks of said fruit (which yes i have eaten before, damn you alcohol) and are absolutely disgusting.

Their Blueberry though, is some next level absolute horrid stuff, When you take the cap off and take a whiff it literally smells like piss, not even a hint of blueberry in there, It was so disgusting i sent them an email and complained about it, they sent me a pre-paid envelope with a new bottle in which still smelt and tasted the same, and i mailed them back the original. They apologised a lot and explained that's unfortunately just how that flavouring is they don't know why but it never used to be that way.

At the very least A+ for customer service, they gave me a £3.99 credit which i used for my next flavouring :)

TFA Cheesecake is a disaster IMO. It tastes like straight up cheese. However TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust is a staple in many of my recipes and is incredible IMO.

TFA Raspberry (not Raspberry Sweet, I'm talking about the OG). I admit that I haven't tasted it, but when I open the cap and hold it at arm's length, the overpowering smell of old socks dipped in kerosene is off-putting enough to keep me from experimenting.

Yeah, I have the OG raspberry as well and whatever I mixed up, nothing worked... Everything smelled passably, but vaping it was like smelling waste from a chemical plant
