I noticed something
While playing random RA songs on my drums, I noticed that not only Survive and Broken English start with the same riff; It's in Worth Dying For, too (after the first chorus, approximately 0:53)
Edit: I said I play those songs on drums but what I meant was in those three songs the same guitar riff is used

It's been said that you could learn 3 or 4 rise against songs on drums and be able to play them all. While Brandon is a phenomenal drummer, the actual music doesnt really give him a lot of room to play creatively. IMHO his talent is being underused, but the drums fit very well in the songs still.
Yeah mostly it's just fast but not very complicated. It took me five years to play that fast and since then I can play almost every song (although some have pretty cool fills or short parts where Barnes' talent really comes through). But I agree, Barnes can do much more than he does with Rise Against. However, it's damn fun to play those awesome songs!
