250cc bike running lean at WOT

Ive got a 2005 honda cb250 nighthawk and when I am at WOT the bike is starving for fuel and loses power. Also I know it's a small bike but surely it should go faster than 55. I'm 6'1" but I only weigh 145. So surely it should go faster than that. Any help would be appreciated.
