The Rock!
Source
Looks like a gta 5 load screen.
Yup, that's exactly what I was going for.
And you really succeeded with it. Did you read up a specific guide or tutorial for this kind of style, or is it just the outcome of an original approach?
I just looked up some wallpapers from GTA 5 and tried to match the style, its really a matter of what tools you have and how well you can use them.
Is that the armoured truck from Just Cause 2?
wow, you have a good eye, yes its a truck from JC 2, I was hoping no one would notice but oh well.
Awesome!
Wow, nice man. Source photo?
Sorry, I forgot to link the source but I updated it now, it should be there.
Can you tell me how you did this?
Oh I'd have to make a full tutorial! I cant go too in-depth, but anyways I used Topaz Clean to get a "cartoony" effect and did the compositing in Photoshop. I painted with a low opacity brush over some areas to simulate brush strokes, just like the real GTA 5 posters. Finally, I added some screencaps from GTA 4(I don't have 5,lol) and JC2 for the background, and voila!. Hope this made some sense, I'm not that good at describing my workflow.
yeah, i just wanted a rough TL;DR. Thanks :)
