Planted Betta tank, advice needed.

original post - x-post from r/Aquariums

"I have a 5.5 gallon Betta tank currently with a marimo ball, a Java fern ( I believe, that's what it was labeled from my LFS), 10 ghost shrimp, and a few snails. I also had dwarf hairgrass in the tank however without proper lighting and no ferts it started to brown. I pulled it out and put in its own bowl in a window till I get my new stuff in.

I just purchased a 16" Finnex Stingray, Seachem Flourish Tabs 10 count, and Seachem Plant Pack Fundamentals which should be here on Sunday. Also ordered at the same time but arriving about a week later are Anubias barteri "Nana", Dwarf Baby Tears, African Water Fern, and a Cryptocoryne lutea. I have no idea how much I need to dose on the tablets or the fundamentals kit for that amount of plants, or if the Finnex Stingray will be bright enough for good plant growth. Also I currently have no CO2 setup on my tank... Recommendations?"

I got a few good answers however I was told to ask here for specifics. So far I've been told that everything looks okay except for the dwarf baby tears. I do plan on attempting a DIY CO2 setup in the next month. It was also suggested using a fert in the water column for them. What's a good fertilizer for this? Do I need to adjust my other products if I do? I am so lost on live pants... please help!
