[EVENT] Excommunication of England
Julius trembled when he read the news, he could not believe his eyes, "This must be a trick from God, Attilio read me this letter". As Attilio read the letter back to him, a look of anger and disgust ran over Alexander's face. An Inkwell flew across the room and landed on the marble floor shattering and spilling thick viscous liquid over the pristine white floor.
"Scribe!" Julius bellowed, his voice echoing off the walls. "Send a letter to the Archbishop of Canterbury, I require him here to explain the details first hand."
"Meanwhile, it is with a heavy heart," Julius' stature seemed to shrink as he spoke softer, "I declare the King of England, Henry the VII, Excommunicated from the Catholic Church, he shall be denied entry to the Kingdom of God, he is not permitted to attend Mass or other services, and shall not receive a baptism of children into the one true faith. I declare this excommunication under the first reading of Canon Law: an apostate from the faith, a heretic, or a schismatic in the Church. Henry VII is declared a schismatic in the Catholic Church for the brutal treatment of innocent Catholics.
Shaking Julius slumped in the Papal Throne "I require solitude now, I need to pray." "May God have mercy on his soul" Julius thought, "for I shall not."
tl/dr: England is Excommunicated, the Archbishop of Canterbury is called to explain the situation to the Pope's ear personally.
