What can't you live without?

About a year ago I found something called thread conditioner at my local craft fair, so I bought one not really expecting much. It's suppose you stop your thread getting knotted while using it and fraying. I'm so happy I found this because it actually works, I don't know how I coped before without it which got me wondering if there are any cross stitch related things you can't live without?
