Questions about autograph runes

So I bought autographs for Synderen and ODPixel. In my armory under each item it says "Number owned: 2". Does this mean that I have two of each autograph or two autographs total? Also, once I apply the rune to an item, is there any way to remove it? Thanks in advance.
