CLC Pay Question

Army

I have a question for you Reddit. I was wondering how much cadets are SUPPOSED to be paid for their training at CLC. No one, not even my HRA seems to know. I've been paid $800 and that seems to be what everyone got but it seems wrong. PVTs with no prior service make $1546 per month of active duty service. I just did 32 days of training and that should equate to at least one month of active service. Whats more is that I am a SGT (E-5) in the National Guard with over 6 years of active duty service, so my time in service makes my normal base pay (at E-5 rate) $2761. So my question is how is it possible, or legal, for the Army to pay me $800 dollars when my TIS, current rank (or old rank seeing as how I'm a cadet now), or even the fact that the lowest enlisted pay grade identify the CLC pay as painfully low? Sorry if the question became rantish but I have rent to pay and my CLC pay was waaaay less than anything i could have anticipated.
