How can I get charm pattern to work again?

I remember using charm pattern to get me through summoning levels as fast as possible, I found it again, but my Java seems to be blocking it because it says something is outdated. My Java is fully updated, and I've tried to put it on the "safe" list in the Java control panel, but it is still blocking it. How can I use it again?
