[Spoilers for All (help yourself)] Deck of Dragons

I am fascinated with the Bridgeburner's (namely Fiddler) take on using the Deck of Dragons as a gambling game and skewing the outcome to be in their favour by simply making up the rules as they go along, yet in a way that also makes sense.

And I was thinking to myself that there must be a way to play this IRL with a (most likely self-made) deck of dragons, group of friends, and some careful planning. This is something I have been mulling over in the back of my head for a while without putting too much active thinking into it (mainly because no one I know has read this series yet) but wouldn't mind fleshing out some ideas with anyone else here who would also be interested.

Obviously the rules are made up as you play the game, but it would help to have some unwritten (figuratively speaking) guidelines and/or examples of how a game would proceed. Regardless of what happens, I would play this as a drinking game as that would be the easiest way to get my friends involved haha but also because it would help loosen up the game and make everything less 'serious'.

There are a number of cards/positions in the different houses that have not been assigned or even talked about for longer than a sentence; these would be a little tricky to initially figure out how to use them, but I'm sure it would only take time to get a basic idea of these positions. The list of cards I am going of is here: http://malazan.wikia.com/wiki/Deck_of_Dragons

So, any thoughts?
