(?) fastest way to lol 100 boss monkey family

I'm a level 44 and was wondering if anyone had a strategy for defeating the boss monkey family. I got it up to level 58 and now I'm stuck. Besides leveling up my zoo is there any special setting or do I have to wait until I'm at an appropriate level?
