Moving to Guelph at the end of the month. Any advice in regards to finding work?

So far I've been checking out the various temp agencies (Liberty, Randstad, ExpressPros, etc) but I was wondering if anybody had any advice beyond that, like maybe upcoming job fairs or openings at your workplace or whatever. I have a variety of work experience - tutoring children, kitchen work, landscaping, office job, etc.

Any tips/help would be greatly appreciated, cheers!
