Trying to stream from Mexico however having some issues with internet, any Mexican streamers or Latin America care to chime in?
Hello all, I used to stream with Cablevision (MTY) with a plan of 20Mbps downstream & 6Mbps upstream. It was fine could be better but at the time it was the only company available to me other than telmex which is worse.
One year later I move and now have access to Axtel X-Tremo! w0000000 N O T!! Have had it for 1 month, with the 20 Mbps downstream and 20 Mbps upstream (or at least thats what I signed up for)
The downstream is great, I can watch 4K videos with no issues, however trying to stream has been a nightmare!
OBS shows my upload speeds from 1000-3000 Kbps, and most times it hangs at 1000-1500 Kbps, which OBS doesnt allow me to stream properly with even when I set it at 2000 bitrate.
BTW before with Cablevisions 20/6 I could stream perfectly fine. But Axtel has been nothing short of a nightmare. I finally got a technician out here after 3 phonecalls with their tech support. He states that since speedtest.net says I have 34/30 theres nothing they show as wrong, he proceeds to call his surpervisor after I show him that both testmy.net and Speedof.me speed tests show my speed at 30/2 with the 2 not even stable. His supervisor says its because they have issues with american servers, WTF?
Anyone run into these issues and what else can I do other than cancel my contract and fight the cancellation fee with Profeco and go back to cablevision?
TL;dr "upgraded" to Axtel X-Tremo's 20/20 after a year of Cablevision's 20/6. However Axtel has yet to deliver anything close to 20 upstream or even 6 upstream, as they say they have "issues" with american servers, but offer no solution. WTF. Anyone streaming with Axtel, what speed do you have
If you have Axtel X-Tremo can you do me a favor and run a speedtest with Speedof.me or TestMy.net and Speedtest.net and post your results below.
