Audio Crackling Problems
When I first updated I had a few crackling issues when I tried to play audio but they went away. Last night I decided to finally try out Minecraft to see if I like it and the crackling was back and didn't go away. I closed the game and reopened it and it was gone. Closed the computer for the night and figured it was a small glitch.
I have a home audio system though and I use iTunes to stream my music on the system, I've been listening to music all day and it's been fine. About an hour ago I downloaded Sonic Dash and tried running it and I was once again faced with the crackle. I closed and reopened thinking it would help like last night, but it didn't. I then went to play a song to see if it was all audio and my music was now crackling as well, it wasn't just the apps. I tried headphones and the crackling came through those as well.
I restarted, I checked for newer drivers but I can't find anything that has helped. I have an HP Dv6z-6c00, and my audio driver is a generic IDT High Definition. I also have the built in Beats audio option. I thought maybe it had to do with that but disabling it didn't work either.
Does anyone know what I can do to solve this issue?
Thanks,
