Current Soviet Meta and a Ranking Question

So I haven't played COH2 much since the new year, and I want to come back to it. What is the current Soviet meta like? Also, since I'm coming back from a 7 month hiatus, will I still get matched up with people who were similar to my skill level 7 months ago? Or will I need to play another 10 games?
