So about 3 weeks or so one morning my Toe was killing me. I was suffering so much pain I would sort of just bursting laughing to cope with the pain. I have been through some crazy stuff but this pain felt like a sharp knife feeling just moving around anytime my toe moved and if not just felt like something sharp sitting in the joint area.
I started to use a ice pack (on top of socks) 4-5 times a day if not more. I started to take 400mg ibuprofen twice a day as well.
The first few nights was so painful that I had to keep icing it and wrap my foot quite tight with a tensor bandage for some relief.
It has been getting better and better now. But last couple days I been on my foot more working in the yard cleaning around the house and it's starting to become painful. Clearly the healing process takes a long time and things were healing it could be walked on a lot more normally with a lot less pain. I felt like I could quickly run up and down the stairs with minor pain but of course stopped myself from doing it.
So The question I guess is what do I have? How long should I keep it mobilized and what sort of therapy should I be doing with the foot if any and when to slowly get it working again.
PS I ran out of ibuprofen and wondering should I still be taking it? I have consumed 32 tablets over the past 16 days.
