New owners at Skyland Heights. Leslie and Associates no longer managing.
The owner of Skland Heights apts. (who I guess wasn't Leslie and Associates like I always assumed) just sold it to RCG Skyland LLC. We got a letter from Leslie and Assoc. telling us our leases were all still valid and our deposits were being given to the new owners. I've already had trouble nailing down the correct place to send my rent. And the new owners just reached out today with a letter telling us there would be improvements being made begining with the exterior and landscaping of the buildings. I'm sure the rent will go up. I'm just not sure when. I've already been coming to terms with the fact that I don't really have enough money to live in this city anymore. I just wonder If I still need to give these guys 30 days notice before I leave (to get my deposit back and not be liable for subsequent rent) Maybe there is a redditor from RCG who could just give it to me straight anonymously. It would help me out. Seems like if you have a pet in this city you are looking at 1000 dollars a month. I kind of hate apartment living anyway. So maybe its for the best. The only reason I'm still living here is because its defaulted to month to month. I'm unemployed with a back injury amongst other problems. Is there some secret place where they post cheap rent in this city?
