RAPID BLASTER OP!

Okay, its definitely not overpowered. Do you like my clickbaitey title? Its for a good purpose, trust me.

Anyways, I made a new main today, and I want to tell you that the rapid blaster can easily dominate the battlefield if you try! I found this to primarily work on ranked battle, but I'm sure you can make it work in turf war too! My KD usually averaged at about 13-4, and I got a 5 game win streak! I think its because no-one expects to see one of these on the battlefield.

First off, I recommend the original Rapid Blaster, not the deco. Reason being suction bombs are very ink consuming, and you really don't want that when you're using a blaster because you'll want to be shooting a lot! I imagine the bomb rush could work on turf war however.

You can be very creative when it comes to abilities with the rapid blaster, however I found it best to stock up on damage ups. I'll discuss my reasoning later. For your sub slots I guess that's up to you, because I can never get perfect rerolls on my gear. Maybe special savers or bomb range up if you insist on using suction bombs.

Anyways, here is the strategy and science of the rapid blaster. With 3 damage ups, the rapid blaster becomes a two hit kill on direct hits. However, if you get some damage in with the radius then get a direct hit in it will be a two hit kill too! Even if your target takes more than two hits to kill, the rapid blaster fires... Well... Rapidly! The fact that this thing has a lot of range too makes it easy to pick off foes. I hear you can make it a one hit kill if you load up on a bunch of damage upgrades but I don't believe that.

That segways us into my next point. You are not a hyper offensive player with this weapon. I'm not saying you can't try, but you will not have much success due to the long range is point blank situations. You are however able to be an extreme annoyance to the other team and an amazing support to yours.

Due to your long range and blast radius you can easily pick foes off the tower and eliminate threats near the splat zone. You can be a total annoyance by putting ink mines on the tower and corners near the zone aswell. Your bubbler won't be as useful to you because you aren't going to be throwing yourself into battle. However, you can run near a teammate and give them a bubble, which will benefit them greatly.

Here are a few no-no's for the rapid blaster

• Never aim your blaster downward. The only times you should are when a target is below you. When that glob of ink hits the ground it won't do much damage or cover a lot of turf.

• Never get near your foes. Stay behind. Because of your sweet range and good blast radius you can easily hit foes behind corners and foes attacking teammates.

• Don't bubble near drops. If you do foes can easily abuse the absurd knockback and send you and your team falling to your doom.

• Never forget to lay down ink. It might be difficult because you are using a rapid blaster, but if foes get stuck in your ink your rapid blaster can be a one hit kill! This way you can charge your bubbler too, and it gives your team some safe zones.
