How to sync music onto Windows Phone from my computer?

Like it says. I don't want to add over 1TB of mp3's to One Drive. I just want to sync it to my phone the old school way. WMP ends up with a corrupted library every time, so I'd prefer not to use it. Is there a way to sync to SD card through Groove Music or can you recommend another app?
