MSI GTX 970 Worth it?

I recently built my PC, and choose the MSI GTX 970 as my videocard. Sadly, the card that I bought was broken in the box. I already checked the warranty, and it is too late for me to get a refund. My question is this, should i buy another brand new MSI GTX 970, or choose a different card due to its better reputation/performance? keep in mind im only willing to spend $350...
