[SIB] Mortal Kombat X (Console) if I preferred the feel of Injustice over MK9?

I'm tempted to just grab MKX ($40, Xbone) to toss into an ever-growing library of 2-D fighters. I had a lot of fun with Injustice and MK9 was fun, but the latter just felt too clunky for me to get into more than the story. I play several 2-D fighters almost competitively. Will MKX be worth it for me knowing this, or should I stick with USF4, Killer Instinct & others for my faster-paced fix..?
