[THEORY] [Season 2 Spoilers] Connections between the Season 2 powers...

By "Season 2 powers" I mean specifically Inhumans. I don't mean anyone else that obtained powers some other way. I didn't want to risk Spoilers.

This is just a theory that flew around my brain, as I was watching the second half of season 2 (I just finished rewatching it yesterday). I started to feel that there was a sort of connection between the Inhumans' powers, and not that they are just completely random cool powers like their comic book counterparts.

The Inhumans we have seen that have gone through Terrigenesis seem to describe their powers as some sort of quantum/subatomic manipulation. Skye can manipulate the frequency in which matter vibrates at the subatomic level. Lincoln can control the electromagnetic charge of atoms and molecules. Gordon manipulates the principles of quantum entanglement to temporarily be in two places at once. These all feel very connected, as if their powers are just slight variations of one thing.

Raina, Jiaying, Katya, Eva and Alisha weren't as obvious but my subconscious still felt a connection. Alisha's ability to replicate reminded me of the phenomenon in quantum physics that if an electron is not observed, it exists in every possible state until it is observed and it collapses into one. She could be manipulating these principles to duplicate herself. Raina's ability could be a hypersensitivity to way matter is organized at the quantum level and her brain can predict how the state of matter is going to be reorganized. Katya can feel other people's senses, this also reminds me of quantum entanglement, as if the electrical impulses somehow were transmitted to her. Jiaying sucks energy out of people and uses it to heal herself. I'm not going to lie, I'm standing on shaky ground (no pun intended) with that one, but I'm sure a case could be made for some form of quantum manipulation. Eva had super strength, but not much more detail went into that and there could be literally hundreds of reasons someone could have super strength.

I think the Kree in the MCU had a specific purpose for the Inhumans, they were trying to give them a specific power for a specific reason and failed. The different "powers" are actually a result of the genetic manipulation process not being as precise as it should have been, plus the result of hundreds of generations of breeding with normal humans.
