[Question] Lingering problems after deleting Flex 2 patch

I downloaded a patch from flex 2 for my steam app (to always stay offline on friends list) and since then I decided I didn't want it anymore. I deleted it (I think) but my steam app has not gone back to normal. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Could the patch have not been completely deleted? Or did I do something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
