Crew training with premium, Accelerate or generate convertible XP.

Obviously if I'm only using my prems to train crews then accelerate crew training is important, but if I'm not trying to focus wholly on training up a crew and could benefit from some free XP to convert, do Prems generate more XP I can convert compared to their regular counterparts?
