[EP4 Spoilers] Chloe's role

...in the story is of use no more, in my opinion. The main purposes of Max being with Chloe again was to show her she was not alone and to help her figure out what happened with Rachel. Both those things happened, and Chloe even admitted being in-love with Rachel twice (I think, atleast) after finding out her (presumable) fate.

Now, I don't know what will happen in the final episode, but considering her death's finally permanent (I even saw a theory somewhere of her three-bullet collar indicated the three times she was shot), Max's only priority in Arcadia Bay is to save it from destruction.
