Mail notifications not showing, linking calendar app to clock and why does 3d builder keep coming back!

So I set the mail app to display notifications and also play a sound on new mail however it is not working, I've also been using the calendar app but is there a way to have it so the appointments also show in the clock in the bottom right when you click that?

I also removed the 3d builder but the dam thing keeps showing up everything I restart?
