Reborn running on macs without Yosemite

Hi i know with all this international hype going on its gonna be hard to get this noticed by a dev or someone but the issue is on even slightly older mac clients dota 2 reborn wont work. Now i know you guys might just say update but truth is Yosemite will make my mac take a massive dump and my parents wont let me do that, so just wondering if reborn will be able to be launched on older versions of Mac OSX
