Just bought AC4...

I recently bought assassins creed 4 on steam, and plan to start playing ASAP. The only assassins creed titles that I have played before are AC1 and AC3. Any tips/suggestions for someone who is about to play his first AC game on PC? HOw does this one compare to 1 and 3?
