Thinking of upgrading my graphics card

Hello, I have an R9 270x that I'm thinking of upgrading... What's the best bang for your buck in terms of GPUs out there? I'm thinking about spending $350 (USD) max. I'm open to trying an Nvidia GPU... Or would it be better to just buy another r9 270x and run those 2 together? Thanks I appreciate any input
